In the true spirit of Lent ...

I have just eaten an entire packet of Fairtrade Stem Ginger Cookies. By myself. Bloody* delicious.

In other news, I have been asked to consider being a server at church. As far as I can tell this involves wearing an alb, holding a big candle holder with a big candle, bowing at the thurifer at appropriate moments and getting the smoking handbag waved in my general direction. I'm sure there's more to it than that, I probably will do it, but I have a feeling I will get the giggles at inappropriate moments or get my foot caught in the alb and trip up the steps to the altar or something. It's good to feel involved though, and that they want me to be more involved (not that I'm under any illusions, it's not that they think I'm great, there just aren't that many people to ask).

In other different news, I haven't blogged about procrastinating for a while. But you'll be glad to hear it's alive and well, and I'm about to go clean my fridge (yes, things really are that desperate!). Don't mention the essays (sigh).

* note for Aussie readers, we do say *that* word over here too :)
