Another stunner, though I felt Terry took his time to get into his stride this year, I think he should have started a bit earlier on the ouzo. My personal favourite was his introduction to the Croatian entry "probably more fun to sing than to listen to". I did vote for the winners (Finland, Lordi Lordi what were they on?!!!) though I also voted for the German country and western entry (my personal favourite), and twice for Romania as I figured if they had won then I would have been able to go to the actual show next year. Sadly it wasn't quite to be though, oh well another time.
This morning I heard a snippet of an interview with the Finnish lead singer. After the amazing death metal costumes and all the rest of it, I found it very amusing to hear a very nice sounding young man talking about how "nice" it was that they had won.
And now I'm trying to find ways of putting off doing my Russian revision. Exam is on Wednesday, current chance of doing even vaguely well: not very good. Time for the ironing, methinks.
