I've only been lurking on SoF today as the profound-o-meter is a bit too low at the moment to post much, but I have, along with a number of other people, enjoyed this link which was posted there earlier today:
At the moment you can only hear the insecty, froggy kind of wildlife as it's night-time, but earlier in the day I saw warthogs and wildebeest and it was just great. I went to Namibia 6 years ago and spent a few days at Etosha National Park, and have some great waterhole wildlife shots, so this is bringing back some lovely memories.
Sigh, it's less than 3 months till the Haggis Hunt starts again, I thought that as that was only between St Andrew's Day and Burns Night I could justify a bit of addictive seasonal webcam-based procrastination. But I'll have to check in here every day now - even just listening to the cicadas in the background is so restful! Too bad I have to turn the volume down on my work computer as I share an office with other students so I don't want to distract them. [Note to self: buy some headphones!]
