I'm out of here for the weekend, so thought I'd leave you with another little nearby oasis. I don't know if this was done with the same community group that maintains yesterday's garden, but anyway just round the corner, on quite a run-down larger road, this little bit of green helps brighten it up a little bit. The close-up in the second photo shows it's something to do with "St Bride's", but I don't know exactly what that is. There is a church round the corner, which I think might be Catholic (but it doesn't have a noticeboard so I don't know its name or denomination), or I suppose it could also be a local school. Or both, I guess. It also shows a little bit of local grafitti art, which is a shame, but then again maybe it gives it even more character? Jury's out on that one.
