Actually there was something else at GoMA I liked - although I really can't remember the artist's name so I haven't been able to find her stuff on the internet. It was a series of everyday, yet slightly quirky household items, which the artist had been commissioned to leave in a newly built council block (1 item per flat, I think) and she'd gifted a few extras to the city. So there was stuff like a photo called "Uncle" which was a photo of what looked like one of the PG Tips chimps, for example. The one I really liked though was a couple of knitted cacti - plant, soil and pot were all knitted. I'd like some of those (they'd probably do a lot better than my actual cacti, which it has to be said are not exactly thriving since I, er, knocked them off the shelf and sent them crashing to the floor. Whoops).
