Oh dear (procrastination revisited)

I'm up here this weekend without HD, as I have PhD supervision coming up next week and need to get a reasonably hefty piece of work in to my supervisors before that (ie by Tuesday at the latest). And so this weekend was the ideal time to get it all done.

So far today I have:

* paid my car tax (overdue by a couple of days, as I forgot all about it till yesterday, but thankfully the traffic wardens didn't notice the out of date tax disc)
* been to the farmers' market (no choice about this - cupboard was looking decidedly bare)
* wasted too much time on the internet (don't say a word)
* did a mountain of ironing (about 3 weeks' worth)
* cooked an outrageously healthy soup which should sort out my lunch for most of this coming week
* wrapped up all my Christmas presents (if it snows tomorrow it's all my fault - usually this gets left until the week before Christmas at the earliest, and I suspect my overseas relatives will keel over with shock as this will be the first time in several years they get their presents in the same year as Christmas Day)
* tried to sort out wedding present issues for the wedding I'm going to between Christmas and New Year (issues entirely my fault and due to not looking at the list until 2 months after it was issued, which meant there were hardly any presents left)

So it's not been entirely unconstructive, but somehow I think I need something other than this list to show my supervisors next week. I don't think they'll be too impressed with this long list of achievements.
