I might make enquiries about the local tai chi class - we discovered when we went to vote in the local elections the other week that there is a class, using the tai chi form we already learnt, in the same venue. It is a really short walk from where we live, and the classes are at sensible times in the evening after work which means they should be doable for both of us. Although tai chi feels like quite a calm thing to do, according to MFP it counts as cardiovascular exercise (and when I've really concentrated on it before I have felt like I've really worked out). Plus it will be a good thing to do together.
