Lost this week - 0.2kg (not brilliant, but we did have a takeaway curry on Friday, and at least it's still in the right direction).

Running total lost - 0.8kg (or 2lbs in old money).

Main thing noticed: oh my goodness I can't believe how much I used to eat between meals! I'm still snacking a little bit, but counting it all and noting it all down has really made me cut down, I'm actually quite horrified, and amazed I'm not even bigger.

I have ordered a copy of 30 Day Shred, which is the latest fitness/exercise DVD thingy that everyone is apparently talking about. It will probably be 30 Day Torture, but given that gym membership at the moment isn't practical (working in another city from May, so minimal time in the week, and the uni gym is a good way away from where I'll be working, plus at least initially there'll be quite a bit of travel with the job) I thought that a cheap DVD would probably be better value, and would at least get me doing *something*. I'm trying to walk a couple of miles most days at a reasonable speed, to burn off a bit too, which is good to get me out and about a bit more.
