I'm finally starting to get into the marking, and am really pleased that I've been able to give someone an "A" (having failed a couple of students prior to that, and been generally not massively impressed with the overall standard of the essays I've read so far). I have to say, so far there's been a rather disappointing lack of comedy typos.

In other news, nessa posted a link to this very cool map thingy. Just the thing when you need to procrastinate :)

There's still quite a lot of grey on that map - will have to do something about that sometime!

And I hadn't really thought about it before, but Canada is SO big (well, I knew that already, although I've actually only visited the bottom left hand bit of it) that it appears, from this map, to have a greater total land mass than the other 19 countries I've visited put together. That's Very Big Indeed.
