I've just been chatting with HD. When he's next here it will have been nearly 3 weeks since we saw each other (we normally manage at least once a fortnight), which is the longest it's been since we got together. I don't like that. Though I suppose it's practice for when I'm on my fieldwork (5 months!). Trying not to think too much about that. If I distract myself with freaking out about having to make contacts and find somewhere to live and conduct all my interviews and and and hopefully I won't get too upset about being a long way (and long time) away.
I talked with my dad last night, and told him about our Celtic Connections shenanigans. He was VERY jealous.
