This probably needs to go to the top of the "Too Much Information" pile, but ... the light in my bathroom has blown. Now I've got another one to replace it, but as I've got high ceilings and the light is 4ft long and I hate ladders and I can't sort out both ends of the light without moving the ladder to get from one end to the other, I'm waiting till someone else is here as it's a 2 person job to fix and will require 2 ladders (well, unless I set up some sort of Tarzan-like rope arrangement, but my bathroom isn't that big so that would end in tears, although admittedly it would probably make a pretty good blog entry). In the meantime I've filled the bathroom with tealights and have had a couple of very pleasant showers by candlelight. But, and there's no way of putting this delicately, if I get caught short in the evening I really haven't got the time to be looking for matches and lighting twenty tealights before I have a wee, so am having to sit on the throne in darkness. I need to get used to the idea of going before I'm desperate so I have the time to create a suitable ambience.
