This is a detail from a poster I bought in the earlyish 1990s (I think 1992 or 1993 probably) from the Tate Gallery (this was pre-Tate Modern days). It's from the Antony Gormley installation "Field for the British Isles" which was the first work of his I'd ever seen. I remember sitting at the foot of the exhibit (it filled the entire floor of a side room at the Tate, and we had to sit or stand in the doorway to look in) and gazing at it for ages, it was an amazing experience. I'm slowly 'bagging' more Gormleys - if I know there's some of his work where I happen to be I will make a point of looking out for it. One of my favourite sculptors.
