A few months ago I shamed myself by posting a photo of my neglected and weedy plant pots out in the back court. I never did get round to getting some annuals for a bit of summer colour, but today we finally got round to clearing out the weeds. Apart from a handful of forget-me-nots and a few bulbs I have chucked everything else on the compost (what wasn't dead was rampant weedlife), and made numerous snails (grrrr) homeless in the process.
When we eventually get moved to a new place, I can make a clean start. And in the meantime the jungle out the back isn't so jungle-like for prospective buyers of this place. A good day's work.
