Yesterday we finally made it to one of those places not that far away on the "We really must visit there sometime but never have yet quite managed it" list. This is the Falkirk Wheel, the world's only rotating boat lift, which links the Union and Forth & Clyde Canals. I was in photography nerd heaven, HD was in engineering nerd heaven - it really is a very cool structure indeed.
