So, a month and a half after the burst pipe, there has been the sum total of b****r all done about fixing the hole in the ceiling in the close. And we seem to be the only ones chasing the factor. Grrrr. In other news, I had a lovely evening this evening catching up with a PhD colleague who after a long long long time of trying has got a good job and is leaving Glasgow tomorrow. Quite a few people there I've not seen for a while, so it was good to catch up and remind myself that health visiting isn't the only game in town. And another friend submitted his PhD last week, which is a massive achievement for him. It had that kind of end-of-an-era feel about it all, but in a good way.
