2011 Project365 (days 18-21)

It's been so busy the last few days I've barely got online at all which isn't like me! I've still managed to take pictures though :)

January 21st:

Frosty Queens Park. It's very cold today, but is that beautiful crisp cold.

January 20th:

HD plays Civilisation 5, watched by Shaun the Sheep. On his blogger profile it says "I have a small plastic duck that has sat on top of my computer monitor since 1984". Here's the proof.

January 19th:

We went to our first Celtic Connections gig of the year (more of that in a separate post), but before that we met up after work and ate at the new Jamie Oliver restaurant up in town, Jamie's Italian. This picture was taken while we were waiting in the bar downstairs for a table to come free. My verdict on the restaurant: very good food, I liked the atmosphere though I tend to prefer more quirky and intimate places. Staff were attentive and not OTT, it felt like they had been picked and trained to reflect Jamie Oliver's brand, but not in an overly annoying way. I thought the food prices were reasonable, but also thought the bar was rather expensive. I'm glad I took a picture in here, as it turned out when we got to the gig that photos aren't allowed in that particular venue.

January 18th:

Just so you know there are people in my life whom I can photograph, not just HD and random objects! This was taken in Beanscene, which is where my book group meets, this is towards the end after we'd finished discussing "To Kill a Mockingbird" which was an all-round hit, unsurprisingly.
