My friend at the next desk was very amused by my speechless crossness at the stupidest email in the world today - I had emailed a university service as I had tried to use their service and they'd asked for a password (about which the form said I had already been informed). As I've never needed to use a password for this service before, I had emailed them to ask them to send me the password, to which they replied "Please send us your password, so that we can access your account." !!!!!!! I think my reply was beautifully understated in the circumstances, but I just had to bluster and chunter and try not to explode for a minute as I could feel my blood pressure rising at the ridiculousness of it all. Gah - silly people!
In other news, I'm off to the Big Smoke for the weekend tomorrow, and having my hen night on Saturday. I will do my very best not to make a spectacle of myself. I suspect my bridesmaid (who is organising it all) may well be plotting something. Hopefully not involving strippers.
