I had what I had hoped would be my final physio appointment this morning. Unfortunately since my appointment on Monday my knee had really flared up and has been really painful (it even woke me up this morning, which hasn't happened for several weeks), and we weren't really able to do much exercise today as it hurt too much and the physio didn't want to aggravate the flare-up. So I'm back again next week. I'm a bit fed up about it - I know that ligaments take ages to heal, as the blood supply to them isn't as good as it is to bones (when I tore my shoulder ligaments a few years ago it took about a year for me to get the full range of movement back) but even so, I'm fed up of pain and stiffness and that constant aching (when it's not twingeing). Moan, whinge.
Still, I am off to York tomorrow for the weekend and so is HD (hooray!), coming up from down south while I go down there from UpNorth. It's just like old times.
