Related to the original point of this blog, I really ought to be working. I have a work in progress seminar to present on Wednesday, for which I have done very little, and it's meant to be a preview of the conference talk I am giving at the end of the month, for which I have also done very little (it's still too many weeks away for me to feel panicked enough to actually pull my finger out). But I can't face it now - HD has gone back down south and so it is much easier to wallow in self-pity than do work. I'll work tomorrow (I hope).
