Well I had a really swinging Saturday night. After a day of domestic duties (including spring cleaning the bathroom and finally using up the aforementioned wine by making a ratatouille) (big mistake, I should have just poured it on the compost after all - I don't think I'll be wrestling Nigella's Domestic Goddess crown from her anytime soon) I spent the evening at a friend's house - doing my ironing!!!! She's my friend who's moving to Bath soon, so I won't get to see her for ages, she couldn't go out as she's got tons of packing stuff to do etc, and I wanted to see her but had a ton of ironing - so I took it round to her place, and we had a lovely time, doing our chores, generally putting the world to rights, and drinking port. And my European ironing mountain has now disappeared! Hooray!
