Library books

I picked up my inter-library loan book today, and I have to say, having flicked through it, my heart sank. Although my Masters is in Development Management so I've done lots of interesting things relating to developing countries and countries in transition and environment and health and all sorts of stuff like that, the management side of things and also the fact that development as an academic discipline is relatively young means that on occasions throughout the course I've had to go through more conventional management theory as well. And my goodness it's dull. Dull, dull, dull. This book today is the only business book I'm going to use for the dissertation - it got quoted all the time in my main development text book so I figured it may well be kind of crucial to the point of what I'm researching (inter-organisational relationships in business-speak, though I'm looking at NGOs rather than big businesses) - but it's SO tedious. I may well lose the will to live after ploughing through it. Any pick-me-ups will be gratefully received, I'm probably going to need a lot.
