On one of the boards I post to, I use as my signature a quote from "Children's Letters to God" which I really like: "Dear God, I didn't think orange went with purple until I saw the sunset you made on Tve. That was COOL." I was inspecting my bruise this morning in the bath and came up with a slight variation. "Dear God, I didn't think yellow and green went with purple until I saw the bruise on my knee ... and now I know for sure."
