I have another window quote! My "damsel in distress" thing finally achieved its aim.
I'm now taking bets on the length of time it takes the insurance company to authorise the work to be done, and the length of time it takes the successful (i.e. cheapest) company to actually do it. I have to say, I'm not holding my breath. But at least I can start the process.
In other news, I am now hooked on the following site: Haggis Hunt - thank goodness it's only a week till Burns' Night, I'm not going to get another thing done if I'm not careful. Though I have to say it's a bit frustrating on dial-up.
