One of my favourite bloggers, Tractor Girl, is celebrating a year of Wiblogging!
TG is a great inspiration and encouragement to me to get off my behind and realise there are important social issues that need to be acted upon: both in terms of prayer and in terms of physical and monetary support. I too often neglect, to my shame and condemnation, the social part of the Gospel we are called to. With thanks to TG, and our sub-deacon who emphasises our need for practical love, I am slowly being made aware.
And add to this, that she, like many bloggers here on the Wibsite -- and most bloggers I like to read -- has left us into her world and allowed us to share the ups and downs life involves. This is one of the reasons I love reading blogs and I love the Wibsite community -- for it is a real virtual (if that isn't a contradiction!) community. And for that I am so thankful. As well as the ability to learn so much from others who have taken a different path on their journey through life to me. Thanks to all those involved in the day-to-day running, those who blog, and of course, the many wondrous readers.
Happy WiBirthday and many, many years of blogging Tractor Girl!
