Cockatoos!

 | Miss Lisa recently mentioned cockatoos bickering in her blog, and on the way to Arabic class today, from the moment I left home, I saw scores of them: literally. Around the corner were four on a street light; a few minutes down the road were some more flying; tens were on the ground in the park near Fairfield Hospital; two were sitting on the fence on the entrance to the M4 motorway; and so on... I haven't seen so many: and they were all sulphur crested cockatoos! They were wonderful to see, though. Beautiful birds.
[And, before you ask, I was keeping my eye on the road; I glanced at them...I didn't stare! ;-)] |
