The Heat!

34+ degrees here, and the air-conditioning is struggling. I have no idea how those before a/c survived; perhaps we have become a bit less able to cope with heat given our comforts. But then again, they didn't have hundreds of lights and hundreds of computers all generating heat. But they did work outside -- and many people still do. I don't know how they do it. I went out for lunch when it was (only) 31.5 -- and was very thankful to get back in the office.

As you can tell, I don't like the heat. Given I've lived all my almost-29 years here in Oz, you'd think I'd be used to it. No. Not at all. Give me a European winter anytime!
