From this Media Release from the Bureau of Meteorology:
The start to November has seen the warmest average overnight minimum temperatures on record for this time of year, not only for Sydney and Canberra but numerous other coastal and inland centres in NSW. .... Overnight temperatures and humidity have been even higher than those typically experienced in mid summer - the average 6am humidity so far this month is 85%. Last night's minimum temperature was 22.3°C or nearly 7°C above the historic average minimum.
