WOW!

And WOW! again.

The Goblet of Fire is, to me, the best movie of the series thus far. It moves along at a rapid rate, and there are a few blink-and-you'll-miss-it scenes, but the storyline, acting and the fantastic special effects more than make up for it.

From the Great Hall to the Quidditch World Cup Scene to the Tri-Wizard competitions to the scene at the cemetary with you-know-who, the effects were absolutely amazing. I was transported away for those two and a bit hours, fully engrossed in the wonderful tale.

The acting was superb also, and it was great to see many new faces, as well as the wonderful British actors and actresses you can rely on for superb performances. Cho's accent was to die for: who can't fall in love with the beautiful Scottish accent; Stanislav Ianevski (Viktor Krum) will no doubt find more roles given his good looks and great acting; Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort was dark, so very dark. The scene where he regains form gave me chills. Just as it did in the book. I can well understand the M rating it got here.

Highly-recommended. I cannot wait for the next one. I love reading the books, and nothing can beat the pleasure of reading a book and imagining in one's mind, but full marks to all involved in the HP movies: they've done a great job.
