Five Random Facts

- Like Alice, I'm allergic to penicillin. Unlike Alice, it was discovered when I was quite young and I came out in all manner of rashes.
- I need time alone: a lot of it. If I'm on holidays with someone I know well (very rare event as I travel alone), after three or so days I really need one day away from them. I get very irritable, God help me, and I need space. For those I meet on tours, nine or ten days is my level before I need a day off.
- I've had only minor variations on the same haircut since I was 12 [I'm now 28] -- I change it, slightly, every so often, but I've never gone for a big change.
- I shop for clothes twice a year, and twice a year only: winter sale and summer sale. I hate clothes shopping, and do it in two mad and frenzied days where I rush in, grab something, pay, rush out and continue.
- Similar to Miss Lisa, I love mediaeval / renaissance costumes and deeply desire them, no doubt vainly, coming back. I once spent an hour in a mediaeval shop in Montréal, just looking. If I was ever to be organised enough to throw a costume party, that would be the theme.
