Thank you to Dave, and any other boffins at the Wibsite, who fixed up my blog. Perhaps some of you thought I'd run away to the desert after my Chrismation ;-): I think I must've hit the "self-implode" button when I was fiddling around with settings. Thank you muchly!
I indeed was Chrismated. And it was a truly blessed and joyful event. Hence the new background: I truly do feel like I am on Cloud 9. Still. And it is a great blessing to be, and to feel as if I am, 'home'.
I'll have plenty to say and photos to show, but the final day of work before Christmas calls and I shall be quite busy. In fact, this week has been very, very busy. But I feel joyful and happy (moreso than my usual smiley state ;-)), so thanks be to God.
I'm not sure what happens in other parts of the world, but we will have Monday the 26th (Boxing Day) and Tuesday the 27th off also: as Christmas falls on a Sunday. There'd be riots if we didn't get all our Public Holidays! Though most of the shops will probably re-open on Monday: nothing like I recall in Dublin where everything, and I mean everything -- buses, trains, even the airport! -- stopped for Christmas Day and St Stephen's Day [December 26].
