As I struggle on, the Trisagion prayers and the Lenten Prayer of St Ephraim the Syrian have been a source of comfort and constancy for me: I try to say them each night:

Trisagion:
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O heavenly King, O Comforter, the Spirit of truth, who is in all places and fills all things; Treasury of good things and Giver of life: Come and dwell in us and cleanse us from every stain, and save our souls, O gracious Lord.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal: have mercy on us. (3x)

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: now and forever and to the ages of ages. Amen.

All-holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, cleanse us from our sins. Master, pardon our iniquities. Holy God, visit and heal our infirmities for Your Name's sake.

Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: now and forever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name; Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Through the prayers of our holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us and save us. Amen.

Lenten Prayer of St Ephraim the Syrian:
O Lord and Master of my life, take from me the spirit of sloth, despondency, lust for power and idle talk.
(Prostration)

But grant unto me, Your servant, a spirit of chastity, humility, patience and love.
(Prostration)

Yes, O Lord and King, grant me to see mine own faults and not to judge my brothers and sisters. For blessed are You to the ages of ages. Amen.
(Prostration)

O God, have mercy on me, a sinner
(12 times, with as many bows)

O Lord and Master of my life, take from me the spirit of sloth, despondency, lust for power and idle talk.
But grant unto me, Your servant, a spirit of chastity, humility, patience and love.
Yes, O Lord and King, grant me to see mine own faults and not to judge my brothers and sisters. For blessed are You to the ages of ages. Amen.
(Prostration)
