While I was writing this post, unbeknown to me as I haven't been following, as I usually do, the news with great interest this week, complete civil unrest had begun after the election of Snyder Rini as the new Prime Minister. The residents of Chinatown in Honiara seem particularly targetted. Many have left, some have stayed; a friend of mine who is a deacon has been helping as part of the RAMSI, is dealing, among other things, with refugees: here is an update he gave on the Ship.
