At least for this semester and this academic year. One more lecture on Tuesday and that is it.
I was rather chuffed to find out last night that I received 18/20 for my presentation way back in August. This means I have received 63 out of a possible 65 for Advanced Project Management so far. I passed before I even handed in the final assignment!: thanks and praise be to God. So if I do alright in the assignment, I may give quite a nice mark. And I really only need 2 out of 35 to get a Credit; though I would be a tad disappointed if all my effort only resulted in 2 marks!
Tonight was our final lecture for Systems Quality Management [apparently the subject is generally held on a Monday, and as we in NSW always have a Monday Public Holiday in October it has been organised to fit around this: hence the one week less]. I truly have enjoyed this subject far more than I expected. With a great class, a great lecturer, interesting topics, and fascinating discussions, with a wide variety of experiences and views from my classmates, it has been as informative as it has been enjoyable. I am truly sad to be leaving such a great group of people, and can only hope we may meet again as our studies continue [though, sadly, the two German students were only here for one semester and they are heading back to Cologne after travelling around Oz].
And in news that may encourage Jack the Lass, our lecturer told us she found out on Friday that her PhD thesis was accepted, after numerous comments and revisions, and she will be given a PhD! I am so happy for her, and her joy, and relief!, was clear to see. Well done to Hiyam, sorry, Doctor Hiyam Al-Kilidar!
I have one elective to do next semester, still to be decided, and, if I pass this semester and next semester, I will have my Graduate Certificate in IT Project Management. I am planning to continue to the Graduate Diploma: not sure about the Masters. One step at a time.
