Chrystus Zmartwychwstał!
[last entry: Hawaiian - Ua ala hou ´o kristo!; response: Ua ala ´i ´o no ´oia!]

Congratulations to Chris and his wife on the birth of Reuben John: many, many years!

A strange day for me: I interacted with people rather than computers. I will say I prefer human companionship.

As I made some rather large changes to our Call Centre application, it was suggested I run some training sessions. I'm always up to trying something new, so all of this morning and the early bit of the afternoon was spent in 6 or so sessions: explaining what is new, explaining new procedures, etc. My voice isn't quite as strong as it was this morning.

But it was very enjoyable: one thing my office has going for it is wonderful people -- which means a lot to me in terms of a work environment. It can truly help to get through some tough days. I hope I made the sessions interesting: my colleagues certainly did for me. Plenty of laughter, comments, anecdotes...and, to boost my ego, plenty of compliments on the new features. And, of course, suggestions for more which I can hopefully implement in the next release.

A very enjoyable experience.
