Optometrist appointment at 11:00 yesterday: examination finished and new frames chosen and payed for by 11:50. Told they would be ready in 7 - 10 working days.
Call at 16:30 today from shop -- glasses are ready to be picked up.
That is fast service.
I have an early day at work tomorrow: someone is coming to increase the memory on our server (do you think he could fix mine?) at 7:30 -- and as Office IT Co-ordinator I will be there. I'll get to leave early at leasy: I'll swing by the optometrist and collect my glasses. I should also get an umbrella: can't seem to fine mine. More rain forecast.
