10am -- and there's still plenty of fog around. Lifting very slowly.
There is something about fog -- not sure exactly what it is -- that I love. It gives me a sense of the mysterious: what might be lurking behind. The views I take for granted are shrouded in a mist. I do like it.
I watched several short films from the Aardman Classics DVD I bought last weekend: absolutely wonderful. Great comedy, great animation, and great fun. I'll look forward to watching a few more tonight. The hardest bit will be trying to ration it so I can enjoy them over a week or so: they are all short features (from 2 to 15 minutes, most around 5) so I could watch quite a few in one sitting -- but I'd like to spread out the enjoyment.
Oh, and we won some football match.
