I'm off on a week-and-a-bit holiday up north from Friday, so I'm feverishly trying to get all the loose ends tied-up before home-time Thursday. Add to my normal work the fun of month-end reporting, and it is a bit of a busy time.
Though one good thing is that I've been updating the IT Manual so that others can do important day-to-day jobs (such as checking back-ups, releasing e-mail caught by the Spam Filter, various reports...) while I'm away. It was in a bit of a state of disrepair.
A good CBT session today: a long-forgotten, long-repressed even, memory cropped up, which got me rather emotional for a time, but it was good to recognise it so that I can, by the grace of God, deal with it and move on. I also got some compliments on the way I have been doing my homework which was nice: my psychologist seems quite impressed that I've taken to it like a duck to water and have managed to analyse my thoughts in a logical and coherent manner. I'm very happy to be doing it as the various analyses help me to work through my unhelpful thought patterns, determine responses and determine why they may be unhelpful, and also to see where in my deep, dark history they may be coming from.
