I'm off to see Romeo and Juliet at the Opera House tonight.
I am a big fan of the Bell Shakespeare company: I try and get to all the performances they put on. They are always very well-performed and wonderfully entertaining. And while keeping the beautiful words of the Bard, the plays are presented in a modern light, with the issues that preoccupy us today being brought to the fore and examined. And Shakespeare's timeless truths about humanity are always relevant and worth exploring.
Dinner will be had with friends before-hand, and then it's off to the play. Very much looking forward to it.
[And then it will be a dash home to the parents' place to pack before leaving tomorrow morning!]
