Still waiting to hear the outcome of the interview I went to last Wednesday. I hope to hear something, positive or negative, soon. As per the updates on that post the job may be permanent and there may be more than one position. I was told there was possibly some restructuring going on -- not sure if that is a good or bad sign! -- and it may take a few days.

I did not get the job I interviewed for in late February. I responded to the e-mail asking for further information. I was told I interviewed well, the panel liked my enthusiasm and thought I could do the job, but I was beaten by a candidate with more experience. They are keeping me on file for any similar jobs in the next 12 months. The response to my e-mail gave me a bit of confidence: it is good to hear I interviewed well and my enthusiasm came across.

I have an interview tomorrow with Australia Post for a part-time postman position wandering around the streets of a Sydney suburb. Prayers appreciated.

I rang our government agency that deals with job seeking allowances, Centrelink, a few weeks back to at least get that ball rolling should I need it and was called back today (they are very busy it appears). I was asked to go for an interview today at one of their Job Network provider's offices (job agencies are outsourced). I was happy to do so, but when I arrived I was ask to fill in a form, hand it in, and then they'd e-mail me when my next interview was scheduled. I can't help thinking they could've e-mailed me the form and saved me the journey.

Great Compline tonight; I do have much to thank God for.
