Afternoon with my nieces

I drove up (~2 hrs) to see my nieces yesterday afternoon and evening. It was great to see them, and my sister and brother-in-law, again, and they seemed very happy to see me.

We played, picked up Skye from school, went to get groceries, had a swim in their pool, watched a DVD (Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey!), had dinner, they did some dress-ups and dancing, and then it was time for bed. Quite a packed afternoon!

I do hope to be able to get back up there once a month at least; it is truly a blessing to spend time with them.
