I can't believe it's been over seven months since my last Arabic class: but it has.

Next week I'm starting it up again: when I lived down south it was a bit of a struggle to drive up every Saturday -- the whole day was practically gone. But now I'm living closer, I think it's time to start again.

A quick look over my notes reveals a lot that has been forgotten though: this week I'll be revising and revising -- and hopefully getting back to where I was seven months ago [which wasn't very far along...but farther than I am now!]

And I'm looking forward to the course itself: there is a completely different dynamic in language classes compared to other classes: at least compared to the music course I'm doing. In the language classes people interact a lot more with each other: I suppose as you are generally sharing quite a bit about yourself as you learn the language: and as you laugh together as mistakes are made. Don't get me wrong: I love the music course and the few people I've spoken to are great and interesting: but, at least to me, when you learn a language you get to know the people better and can even form friendships with those you're studying with: as I have in classes past.

I can't wait for it to begin again.
