Hurrah, and thanks be to God.
I think I did alright; by the time all three of us had finished, with me going last, it was past 9pm so there wasn't much time for feedback. I shot off an e-mail to our lecturer asking for a critique and suggestions for improvements.
The other two gentlemen who presented had done far more research than I had; one even appears to have practically finished the assignment [which is not due until late October]. The other fellow had done quite a bit too. This did make me rather nervous to be honest: I was happy with what I had put together, but it seemed so little compared to those who had gone before me.
Regardless, I ploughed on. And rambled. And rambled some more. I realised I skipped a slide at one point, so I went back to it. But all-in-all I was generally happy; I even got a few laughs, which put me somewhat at ease. I said what I wanted to, I got through it without fainting, and I believe I answered the questions asked afterwards satisfactorily. And it is good to have it out of the way top be honest.
On to the written assessments now. Well, by "now" I do mean "soon"...perhaps a few days rest? :)
