Congrats to Miss Lisa and hubby: many, many years!

It was an absolutely beautiful service (her brothers and fathers got the tears flowing with a song during the signing of the register), and the reception afterwards was full of fun and food: absolutely lovely food -- the chocolate cake with King Island Cream especially! A wonderful day. And it was great to see Deeleea again and catch up with her, and meet a number of Miss Lisa's friends: wonderful people.

The night before I met Chops and the Lovely One [and congratulations to them on the bub due next year!], and the Curate, before dashing off to the Australian Bradenburg Orchestra's Noël! Noël! concert. It was great to meet Chops and Mrs Chops, and a blessing as always to see the Curate. Though next time I hope I can stay longer than 10 minutes.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers all. Things are getting better, thanks be to God, day by day. I've been keeping myself busy: catching up with friends I haven't seen for a while [and who read this blog apparently: hello!]; seeing Idomeneo by Pinchgut Opera [thank you Semele for the recommendation: it was a wonderful performance!]; and catching up with my niece and family. Christmas shopping is about 40% done: I have a half-day this week where I aim to finish it off.
