Christ is Risen from the dead,
trampling down death by death,
and on those in the tombs bestowing life!
A blessed and joyous Pascha and Paschal Season to you all.
As with every year, Pascha seemed to come on unexpecetdly, and I felt completely unprepared. But, with the mercy and love of God, and as St John Chrysostom wrote in his Paschal Homily [which is a glorious expression of the joy of Pascha and triumph of Christ over death] God accepts those that come at the eleventh hour as those who came at the first, and he honours the work as well as praising the intention. This year's Holy Week in particular has been a particular joy as there was, thanks be to God, much love and light amid the struggles and darkness which gave me hope and strength to continue on.
