Thank you to wonderful work colleague K, who has given me plenty of books which her kids have grown out of -- Skye, as you can see, loves her books -- and loves having as many as she can. I'll have to take her down to the library with me one day: though I hope she can understand the concept of only a few books -- and the fact you need to return them after three weeks.

Thanks also to a former parishioner K [a popular initial!], who gave me an Arabic Bible, an Arabic-English dictionary, and two Arabic grammar books. Several of my fellow parishioners were very helpful in assisting me to read the Bible title page and a few other pages, and seemed to greatly enjoy it. God willing, I'll get back into the studying of Arabic soon.
