Sorry Pants and Auntie Doris: next time, I'll decide to get it lanced by the doctor -- and of course I'll take my camera along and get the receptionist to take shots. :)
Nefertiki: right you are. Unfortunately I don't recall what I did to set it off: one evening it was fine; the next morning, it was like it was below. A friend also recommended peroxide: perhaps I'll try it next time.
Yay: the Magnoplasm did reduce the swelling, but I am now on antibiotics [perhaps I need to have a photo wiblog of me popping pills]. I went to the dentist Saturday morning, and as my doctor is in the same complex, I visited him and he suggested a course of antibiotics. As I'm allergic to penicillin, I have something containing Erythromycin (oh, and Magnoplasm directs to Magnesium Sulphate on Wikipedia).
