Georgian Monastery Tour 2010

You may remember my seemingly endless blogs and photos [though I believe due to my mental health issues last year I may have not covered it all] my most wonderful time in Georgia with tour leaders John, Luarsab and Maka, and a most wonderful group of people. Well, the 2010 tour, the fifth such tour, with tour leaders John and Luarsab, is now accepting applications.

Georgia is a most wondrous country, and its history, religious and secular, is simply amazing -- as is its present time: a truly other-worldly place. And the food, oh my, the food!. While, as you may recall, it was a very intense time for me mentally and spiritually, not only was it a time of learning and experiences and great fun with the other tour participants, I believe it truly began a process of changing me for the better.

While generally a solo traveller, the small nature of the group [maximum of 15 participants], and the wonderful range of backgrounds and interests they brought with them, was a true joy and blessing to be part of.

As can be seen: I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. If you are looking for an amazing travel experience in July, I can only say "go for it".
