Slept for eleven hours last night: and feel much better for it. This flu, which I think I'm almost over, seems particularly nasty. After watching Curse of the Golden Flower I was in the mood for some more Chinese cinema, so I re-watched Hero last night before hitting the pilllow. Hero contains one of my all-time favourite scenes: the beautiful, majestic, amazing Golden Forest fight scene. The Ship has a thread on favourite movie scenes: worth a look. Some good movie recommendations I'll have to take a look at.
I had ordered, through the woman who does our stationery orders, some compressed air to use on keyboards and the like. Imagine my surprise today when a huge, flat cardboard box arrives, with a "Compressed air" sticker on it. Did they really send "compressed air"? Opening it revealed something akin to this: the product printing clerk [the woman who also orders stationery] is away today, so I've left the (rather large) sign on her desk as a surprise for Monday.
