Laughter and Joy

God is good: a moment of self-induced laughter, and joy from several fellow bloggers this day. And thank you all for your comments, prayers and wishes on the post below.

The laughter: I had to drop something off in a meeting so I went in quietly, placed the paper where it needed to be, and left, quietly. Or so I thought. I tripped over a chair on the way out, almost crashing to the floor. Cue laughter from my colleagues, and quite a bit of laughter from me.

And so many different things that bring happiness, or a smile, or a laugh: more than that, that bring joy:

Michael's reminding of us of the Signing of the Act of Canonical Communion between ROCOR and Moscow to happen this Thursday, Ascension Day : cause for great celebration, and prayer
Smudgie and Smudgelet's llama walk (I never knew such things existed!)
the third leg of Semele's holiday (parts one and two are worth looking at too) - and please remember Semele and her family in your prayers after the passing away of her grandfather
