Thanks be to God! After eighty years, the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad has reunited with the Russian Orthodox Church -- report from Russia Today, a news channel, which is still showing a number of interviews and some footage of the event -- you can access the channel via their website. Glory and thanks be to God.

Please continue to pray for the churches in your prayers.

Two nights of trivia this week: three of us from work went to a hotel near work to checkout their trivia, and see if we may make it a monthly work event. Good fun, though we were the smallest (and youngest!) team by far -- most teams had ten or more people. The style was very different to the Thursday trivia we go to: a good mix of questions, with some "Guess the artist/song" questions with audio played through the p.a. system and some "Guess who the photograph is" questions. We came second-last, though it was good fun: and, hopefully, with more people it may become a monthly or bi-monthly work event.

Tonight we came sixth (or so) out of ten (I think). 17/20 for round 1; 10/20 for round 2; and 4/10 for round 3. But it is great fun -- the compere, Judas Falling, makes sure he throws in some jokes and also has some fun rounds for drinks vouchers: farthest-thrown paper aeroplane; first with a coin from a certain year; bringing him two things that begin with a given letter; fastest SMSer; ... Truly a good night out: regardless of our finishing place.
